Computer-based communication is one of the most fundamental changes
in communication technology in the last 150 years. The proliferation
of the personal computer combined with the Internet has caused far-
reaching changes in society. Electronic communications and digital
networks are transforming the way we work and the way we learn.
However, since communication is at the heart of all forms of
educational interaction, it is likely that its impact on education
systems and individual teachers and learners will grow even faster in
the future. In this context, e-learning has enlarged its scope,
including the use of web-based teaching materials and hypermedia in
general, multimedia CD-ROMs or web sites, discussion boards,
collaborative software, e-mail, blogs, wikis, computer aided
assessment, educational animation, simulations, games, learning
management software, electronic voting systems and more, with
possibly a combination of different methods being used. The workshop
will accept submissions on all aspects of e-Learning with a special
emphasis on those directly connected with the use of technology in
supporting computer science teaching and learning. Papers on the
practice of teaching computer science and computer science education
research are also welcome.
The workshop topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
Theory:
General & Cross-Domain
