The ICETA 2007 Conference continues in series of successful conference aimed to application of progressive ICT and their utilisation for education. The conference is organised in co-operation with Technical University of Košice, Slovakia.
Conference Objectives:
· Development of a multidisciplinary platform for information exchange in research and development of multimedia and hypermedia applications, in a complex computer support of learning and in new telecommunication services
· Exchange of experiences in utilisation of advanced ICT for education
· Information about e-learning activities in the international measure
· Advertisement of technologies supporting e-strategy
· Supporting a collaboration among the users and suppliers of e-learning solutions
Conference Structure:
· Plenary lectures of invited speakers (30 minutes presentation)
· Oral sessions and dialog (poster) sessions (15 minutes presentation)
· Videokonferencing and virtual presentations
· Panel discussions, exhibition and showcases
· Competition „e-Learning in Praxis” - an accompanied event
Conference Main Topics:

2. Tools & Content-Oriented Applications
3. New Roles of the Instructor and Learner
4. Cases & Projects
Competition „e-Learning in Praxis”
Is organised in the framework of the ICETA 2007 conference. The best e-learning solutions will be awarded. The main aims of the Competition are: evaluation of current state-of-the-art of e-learning, and supporting the implementation of new e-learning solutions.
The Competition is organized in the following 3 categories:
- On-line courses
- Supportive educational materials for online education
- Complex online educational systems
Important Dates:
· 15 March 2007 – Full version of the paper (6 pages, for reviewing by the International Programme Committee) –visit the http://www.elfa.sk/ICETA-2007 for the template
· 30 April 2007 – Notification about acceptance, instructions from reviewers
· 15 June 2007 – Camera ready paper (after implementation of comments)
· 30 June 2007 – Advanced registration and payment
The papers should be submitted using the Electronic Submission System. If unable, to submit the abstract electronically, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
